I'm confused..I keep seeing Moms on here say that 37 weeks is full term but I thought 39-40 weeks was full term because that's the end of your pregnancy..not 37 weeks, which would be considered term. I even saw someone say 36 weeks is full term..that's an entire month before your due date so it doesn't make sense to me..?

i was told 38 to 42 weeks by my ob but the wouldnt induce me tell 39 weeks just to make sure

I think they mean like if you were to pop at 37 weeks the baby would be okay ? Idk that's what I thought

It depends on the dr honestly. Some will tell you 36 others will say 37-40. Mine said full term is 40wks and won't induce unless I go over 40wks or have complications

37 weeks is considered Term 39-40 weeks is Full Term :)

@melissaivania, Yeah the baby would most likely be fine but I don't think it means your full term at 37 weeks.

None lol :) you are term and babies do great at 37 weeks but full term is 39-40 and usually have less issues and better APGAR tests !!

I've always heard 37 weeks IS term and I think it depends on who you ask. All my pregnancy apps say 37 weeks your full term! But, a new app i got doesnt consider you full term until 40 weeks.

It's actually early full-term. I delivered my first at 37w4d and she is considered full term. I'm having issues this pg, but my mfm bases a lot of my full term first pregnancy
