@littlemissemma6915, I'm seriously ready to and let them clean up this pigs pen of a "house"!! & @d0llface_j3y my SO has done that with many items and she will just say it's sentimental and when he asks why she tells him he wouldn't understand and cries. It's ridiculous cause she will throw away things like a BEAUTIFUL glass table her grandmother gave her but keep a broken you four wheeler cause someone might use it. Like WHO?!

Then something in her life isn't making her happy it's connected to abandoment issues

@d0llface_j3y, she blames it on because she only had one son and never tried to get pregnant again so she wants to keep every single memory . We told her okay we'll take pictures and put them in a scrap book because she literally keeps all this shit and never touches or looks at it just lets it lay around and collect mountains of dust. And then her excuse is well my SO might want to keep all his childhood things when he doesn't he wants her to have a clean house like she always talks about but she's even said she's too lazy to do it its excuses after excuses . 😒

@expecting2015, exactly!!! She has a beautiful huge country style home but it's so full of shit that once you walk inside you're better off lighting the bitch on fire than cleaning it up.

I know it's frustrating, trust me, my brother has the same issue, but it really is a type of mental disorder. she needs real help, or it will never get better. there isn't much you can say or do that will make her change what she's doing. I would just tell her that you don't feel comfortable bringing baby to her home, because of safety and health reasons (if you haven't done that already) and hopefully she takes the necessary steps to help herself. It's difficult to understand, and I hope for the best for all of you

@anelalii, we have told her thinking that would make her get off her ass and do something we cleaned the entire living room today and literally just got done and within the time it took me to make everyone dinner since she was too upset to do so she put a bunch of random shit in the living room and took all the bags we had for garbage in another room to keep. I'm just so over this .

My mil is exactly the same way. the basement is filled with clothes, shoes, toy, and other junk that she never uses and there's only a little walk way. When we try to atleast organize it, she throws everything everywhere and makes it worse. Containers are a hoarders best friend if they aren't willing to get rid of anything.

We have a million and one containers the biggest problem is she won't get off her ass and do it says she likes help well when we help her it's too much help them find someone who will sit there and let you keep everything then you'll get no where . @kelseys
