I'm a first time mom and was wondering, for diapers before baby comes do you stock up on size ones…

i would get them in all different sizes. and keep the recipes...but most places you can exchange them with no problem. maybe get a box of nb and then a box n some bags of 1s. and so forth. but every baby is different.

you get 3boxes size one, one size newborn and 4boxes size two that's how I stared out with Gabriel and it worked so well

It's helpful to get at least a few boxes of newborn and a few of 1s. The truth of the matter is, you can trade your diapers in at Walmart (5 boxes at a time) so long as they can be scanned and comeup in their system. Same goes for Target (unlimited amount of trade, you do have to have a registry with them though). You can exchange ANYTHING at target for diapers. They just see it as a return on your registry give you a gift card with the retailed amount on it and send you on your way.

I'd be careful with newborn diapers, some babies only fit in them for a couple weeks. My daughter was a little over 9lbs and only fit newborn for a few days lol.

but like everyone said, as long as they're unopened, most places will let you exchange sizes.
