Good Lord, my child's name is only 2 syllables. How hard is it to pronounce? ..my family refuses to even try to pronounce it, and my grandma even said she'll call him by his middle name...then my aunt said she'll call him AC...Uh. no? you'll call him by his NAME. it's Avan (the a's are pronounced the same way they are in apple)....its not that complicated. anyone else have this issue with family?

No...most people in my family have their own personal nickname for my children. It doesn't bother me nor does it bother my children. I'm 30 years old and my grandma has never been able to pronounce my name which is LaPrecious but she calls me LaPraysha n most of my family call me Presha.

So my family is giving me issues with my son's name. Asher Zane. hubby picked it out as was our deal if we had a boy this time. so here's the thing. they wanna call him ash. as in from pokemon. we figured this would happen so my husband and I clearly said not to call him that. Asher is his name not ash and then they decide they will call him Zane instead. see here's my thing, my husband is extremely picky on names. I've suggested maybe Spencer Zane but he refuses to budge. I don't want my kid being picked on for his name. especially not from my family. what can I do? what do you ladies think of his name

I really don’t want to name my son Rodrigo. The only reason i am naming him that is because he would be the 4th Generation and I’d feel like a total B**** if i don’t:(. My husband wanted him named after him at first but now that he sees i really don’t like it he said its ok to name him something else. But to be honest his family would probably get upset. 😩
