Good Lord, my child's name is only 2 syllables. How hard is it to pronounce? ..my family refuses to even try to pronounce it, and my grandma even said she'll call him by his middle name...then my aunt said she'll call him AC...Uh. no? you'll call him by his NAME. it's Avan (the a's are pronounced the same way they are in apple)....its not that complicated. anyone else have this issue with family?
