fiance asked me to take down my celebrate pride profile pic on Facebook because his dad and "others" we're offended. I'm offended. that he couldn't stand up for me. I took it down because it's his family and I'm not fighting with them because I feel like that's his job. if I fight it they will only resent me. if he fights for me they won't because they would have to resent him too. it was just a picture. to show support. its not like it was explicit or sexual. it was just rainbow over my profile picture. I changed it. but I changed it to solid black. I won't have a picture if I can't have the one I want.

I wouldn't have changed it. I wouldn't care if they resented me for it either. They get to.stand.up for what they feel is right but I cant? Oh he'll no. I.don't have to.tell them nothing. I can just keep it up and they can.keep it pushing. Why change who You Are for them ppls? I rather they hate me for being me than like me for NOT being me

I have been sharing all the gay support things I can. even if it doesn't help it makes me feel better.

yeah none of his family is supportive. all super Christian. I just wish more Christians would realize that Christianity isn't the only religion. other people have values and opinions.
