Is anyone being induced before your due date? If so, why?

I was induced at 39weeks because my water broke and I wasn't having strong contractions

I am diabetic and they wanted to induce me at 39 weeks but my baby failed her non stress test and I was induce 4 days sooner but I didn't progress after 2 days so I had a c section.

I was at 38 weeks because I had high blood pressure out of no where
