Any advice on anterior placentas?? The doc told me no intercourse 3 weeks ago and I've followed that... But my hubby and I need to have this intimacy! I have a new ultrasound next week to see how I'm doing

Hi I am into my 15 week now But since last two days am not having good feeling....I just feel something is wrong inside wid d kid...all my symptoms r too less Morning sickness is gone....Metallic taste of my tounge is also less....and I feel pain in my abdoman twice or thrice which is very minor though What should i do i am very confused Already have gone through 5 scans because of changing gynec Just feel that untill i hear the heartbeat or see my kid i wont b ok....got sleepless nights

Thank you for all of your responses ladies. Yes, @katyaoct15, my placenta is low lying so she said no intercourse until further notice. This is difficult!

As far as I know there's absolutely no issues with anterior placenta besides starting to feel your baby movements a bit later than other placenta's later location. The no sex recommendation is usually given to whom has a low lying placenta (close to birth canal) that can lead to c section. Somehow avoiding sex will increase a chance of it to go up at the early stage of pregnancy. Perhaps your placenta is anterior and low lying as well.

I was never told no sex? I wasn't even told I had an anterior placenta, I happened to look up and the tech typing it out

I have it.... they never once told me that... that's odd.. but I've had sex throughout my whole.pregnancy, a lot.actually.... and nothing bad has happened :)

I have one but never been told no sex. There has to be another reason they don't want you having sex.

Have u had any type of bleeding for them to tell u no sex.. I have had an anterior placenta before and they never said anything about not having sex
