Any new mommies have any advice on pacifiers. Everything I read says wait till three weeks at least because it could mess with breastfeeding but Haiden, my baby girl (only three days old), is cluster feeding all night long and and when I give her the breast because I'm wondering if she's hungry she just falls asleep within minutes no matter what I do to try to wake her. It's just like she just wants something in her mouth.

I would give it to her ino alot of babies that had a pacifier and breastfed right away. it should be fine! :)

Actually from what I've seen she could be doing it for comfort. A pacifier wouldn't necessarily work. She might just want your breast and only your breast for comfort

also if she's not feeding normal try getting her cool enough cuz they say they tend to fall asleep alot when the latch too, just from having the comfort of mommy :) but I'd go ahead and use one and then maybe you'll know for sure when if it's hunger or not

Thanks girls yeah @kristen_91 I strip her down to just diaper to try to wake her enough to really feed and I rub her back but she still just falls asleep. Not always but last night this whole cluster feed thing started and she was waking every hour clearly wanting something in her mouth

aw... well I hope the pacifier will help. let us know. I never had this happen but my babies had a hard time latching because of their size and my supply not going up. but again keep us up dated :)

yes she would just want me sometimes. but I also wonder if she woulda started using a pacifier if I started then earlier. @edomke but babies who breastfeed love using their mommies as pacifiers lol!

Baby won't bear weight on leg

Baby won't bear weight on leg I have a walking 10 month old and she has been extra fussy yesterday and today. Today I noticed she didn't really want to crawl, she would just cry until I came and picked her up. After I fed her, I tried setting her down to play with her big sister and she just started crying and wouldn't put any weight on her left leg. She will put weight down on her right leg but then just cries until you pick her back up. I thought maybe she just didn't want to be put down (as baby's often do). I tried a few more times over the next 30 minutes and she still won't put any weight on it. I had a meeting (I work from home), so I took her upstairs to my husband. She is now playing with her siblings and happy, but he text me (from upstairs) and says she still won't put weight on it. She is just sitting there playing.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
