nope your child comes first and so does his/her saftey.

I had to do that with my brother he would treat me really bad when he was around me I ended up telling him if he can't treat me with respect then he wouldn't see my son my family was so mad at me but I told them I'm sorry but I'm tired of being treated that way and if he wanted to be a part of my son life he will need to treat me with respect I think it took him 6 months and finally he started treating me better

I'm glad he did! My sister is just constantly the worst to me. I've tried to cut her slack because I know a lot of it is jealousy (she started trying to get pregnant after we announced our pregnancy and has found out that without a lot of medical intervention it won't happen) and I understand that that is terrible and difficult to deal with but she treats me terrible and today was yelling about how selfish I was for wanting to go to my doctor. I just don't think it's OK @preggiemommyincorona

You have a right to feel that way @bbyenolan22 in the end this is your life and your child sometimes people especially family are selfish when they see something that they want

I'm doing with my sister . My family is pissed but it's been 4 months

It's not wrong at all. I am currently doing the same with my sister. I did let her come visit me in the hospital and meet my son but until she makes changes to her life and her lifestyle I don't want her negative life choices to effect what my son thinks is acceptable as he grows.
