So I have a question:
for like the last month my BP keeps dropping. Normal for me is like 120/75 but it's now like 98/52(area). And I'm just really worried. There are times where I'm so weak and light headed I can't move. I stay hydrated. But I lose my appetite. My nurse doesn't seem to think it's that big of a deal bc it's not all the time that I feel like that, but my BP is that low all the time now.
Anyone else have this or any advice?

It's very scary. I've worked on a heart floor where they hospitalized ppl for it being that low! @meganeileen6 so it's making me crazy, I check it all the time. when is low to low?!

Do you have low sugar maybe that could be why your feeling like that

no. I'm fine every other way. it's just my BP. @camillesmom

Hmmm that's strange, have they mentioned pre eclampsia have you talked to the Dr not the nurse
missing380user·
preeclampsia is when your BP is high. and no. you can't get the doctor unless the nurse thinks it's necessary. and I don't go bk to see her til the 9th.

When you have a low BP to begin with, you've got to stay very hydrated! My midwife said I would feel dizzy and light-headed if I didn't because I have a lower BP.

Also, light-headedness can occur because of changes in blood volume vs what we are used to. I've had some breathlessness myself. If it doesn't subside fairly quickly, call to alert your doc.

I do! I drink almost 6L of water a day bc of my job, & then milk and sometimes juice. @earthmama and my BP wasn't low. it was extremely normal. idk it just seems weird.

That's different about getting the Dr. Cause my whole pregnancy I only saw the Dr not the nurse,

Your blood pressure will be lower once getting pregnant it is perfectly normal to have a blood pressure on the lower side of normal your heart is working harder to pump blood not only to you but also to the placenta which is what causes the lower blood pressure. If you weren't pregnant it would certainly be a flag for something underlining but because you are pregnant it is not a huge concern :).
