Well I just learned today on my hospital tour that newborns get a checkup by a pediatrician when…

the hospital usually has their own pediatrician that checks on them when they are 2 days old and before you leave the hospital

it's okay they will just see the pediatrician at the hospital. plus some pediatricians don't go to the hospital my family Dr doesn't so my baby just saw the pediatrician at the hospital

@squeakpipsmommy0607, @steph11 the lady who was the tour guide didn't even mention that..she was saying it like we had to have a pediatrician

I doubt they don't have one. I would call and ask. I never did a tour so I'm not sure

It's usually the on call pediatrician they are the ones that discharge baby, that doesn't mean you have to use them If you don't want to :)
