I don't see how people wait this long to find out what they are having.. I am 22 weeks and dying to know. Every day I get even more anxious. I don't agree with a doctor not giving an ultrasound until 24 weeks/ 6 months! I have faith my baby is okay but anything could have happened and I wouldn't even know. And if there is a complication with my pregnancy Im not even getting care for it.😑
Doctor appointment is the 29th and I asked them to schedule an ultrasound too and they said "We will see if you measure big or small then talk about it".. 😔

What??? That's crazy! The latest I have ever heard of them doing it is 20 weeks!!!

Idk know where your located. But here where I live they have a place called baby belly and you can call and tell them you want a gender ultrasound and they'll do it. But it's not from an actual doctor and it costs money! If I don't get to find out what I'm having at 16 weeks then I'm going. There's no way I can wait that long!

That's crazy! You're supposed to get your anatomy scan at 20weeks. Research 3ad ultrasound places in your area so you can find out sooner. I found out at 17weeks with one. It'll cost but it's worth it!

@haybearsmomma, I live in kansas, they have one of those about an hour from where I live but I just don't have the money. Im considering switching doctors but mine helped get me through hyperemesis gravidarium/horrible morning sickness. Then again its my pregnancy and I want to know how my baby is doing.. At least I know what doctor not to go to next time...

Yeah, very understandable! But if you don't feel comfortable with your doctor then i would switch anyways! Cause as a mother its natural to want to know how the baby is & we worry! At least express your concerns to them! Good luck!
