So, im making a big gift basket for the nurses when I check in at the hospital. (Candies, bags of chips, granola bars, fruit snacks, ... that idea.) I am aware that a lot of hospitals will toss 'homemade' items because if health reasons. But, I was wondering for those of you who did the same thing, how much stuff did you bring? How many nurses worked with you? I want to bring enough. Or if it's not that many nurses (like under 8.) I was thinking of maybe just getting a big tray of cupcakes ordered from a really good bakery in town.

@firsttimemommy89, i actually only got the idea from a "checklist for packing for the hospital." So I can't take credit 😅 Go right ahead!!! 💗 I'm also gonna bring some blank Thank You cards to fill out for my extra favorite nurses.
I really like this idea, I hope you don't mind I'm totally going to do something like this!
@ayjeffries, I have two friends who are delivery nurses, and they said anything from treats to a special card really makes them feel special! One of the girls said that if there are treats, you usually become be favorite patient! Haha.

@kelseys, that's what I was thinking. Maybe I'll just do a big basket of snacks, and then after I deliver, or in the morning I'll have my mom or husband run out and get a big box of doughnuts for the staff😊 thanks!
you usually have a new nurse about every 4-6hours. but definitely under 8nurses.
