***My Daughter gets her 2 month shots today and we also pick up her prescription for the antibiotics she has to start and take until the age of 5 to fight off infection that can occur due to her having Sickle Cell Anemia. Today makes it real that she has the disease, the doctors say she probably won't have any Sickle Cell Crisis until age 1 I'm praying that's true I don't know how I am going to deal with something like her hands and feet turning blue from lack of oxygen and her having to be hospitalized at such a young age, o needing blood transfusions. I'm really trying to do my homework on this I want to be as prepared as possible. This makes me even more scared when trying to find child care providers. ****
