Essentials are obvious e.g) nappies, wet wipes, talc, baby shampoo, baby bubble bath, baby wash, cotton wool/pads, (thermometer, soft brush, nail clippers/scissors you can get all together in a pack) you'll need literally a lot of vests🙈 Then there's the baby bath, top and tail bowl, baby sponges, baby towels and so on.. Possibly even bath toys for the little one.
You could also start buying the things you might need a bit later on such as high chair, walker, jumperoo & baby monitor.
Also the cot, changing table, wardrobe set, moses basket, you'd also need cot bedding and the basket bedding.. make sure you get extra fitted sheets. You'll need a car seat to leave the hospital in, so make sure that goes with you..best to buy a travel system pram.
And obviously lots of clothes/shoes for your little special one. Hope that helps @hannahmilligan22
It's okay☺ aha.
Cot, drawers, curtains. pictures for the wall. My little boys room is very minimal and very plain. He has colourful carpet and blankets so that brings enough colour to his room. He will eventually have his toys set up on the floor as well so we tried to keep it simple as possible. Baba no.2 will eventually be going in there with him and they are 2 little boys so we are eventually going to be buying borders and things to make it more like a boy bedroom☺ I used like the ikea book to help and look at one they have in the pictures and just think to myself do I really need that and that helped me a lot x @hannahmilligan22
You've ages yet... do you have your bounty pregnancy guide or your Emmas diary from your doctor/midwife? I'm sure i remember there being a list of essentials in one of them?
You need to remember things like cot sheets and sheets for the moses basket. those were things that I didn't think of. Remember a vest as well as babygrow for the hospital cause I don't find them that warm. All essentials that you should know of (nappies, wipes, carseat etc) and remember you need pads and undies for yourself. Toiletries for the hospital etc. Hope that helps. xx
