You really start to see the adults that raised you ( be it mom,dad, grandma, grandpa etc) in a WHOLE new light once you become an adult and start having ur own children. Like WHO ARE YOU????

So this past week was my first week back to work since having my baby so imagine the anxiety and sadness I was feeling in regards to having to be away from my baby for an extended period of time everyday. Add that to building a trust in the person that would watch her while I'm away. It was a major decision. My grandmother watched her this week while I was at work and I was just starting to feel somewhat comfortable with her until yesterday:

So yesterday I come home from work and wash and sterilize my babies bottles when I notice that the nipples on the bottles are completely different from the nipples I brought her. I mean they look nothing alike! Now mind you, my baby is breastfed so she needs special nipples that mimic the breast so she won't have any issue transitioning back and fourth from bottle to breast (working breastfeeding moms understand this, but apparently not my family who formula fed all of us even tho its been explained to them sooooo many times) ANYWAY! upon further investigation the nipple that was NOT the nipple I bought had way more holes in it which meant it came out faster...NOT good for a breastfeeding mom

So naturally I ask the person who watches her, aka my grandmother if she switched the nipple and she denies it. I ask her again and she swears up and down that it was the nipple I gave her. This morning my mom calls me and tells me that my grandmother told her that when she was feeding the baby yesterday, it looked like she wasnt getting enough milk out of the nipples I gave her (the ones designed to mimic the breast nipple) so she took it upon herself TO POKE HOLES in the nipple to make it bigger, BUT she made the whole too big and had to go to KMART and get new nipples. so she basically lied to me when I asked her and thought I was dumb enough not to notice the difference

I'm SOOO PISSED! Like who does that? Why lie? Now I don't trust her, my own grandmother to watch my baby. All she had to do was feed her with the bottles I provided for her, burb her and change her NOT do any extra because "it looked like the baby was having a hard time getting the milk" My baby never had a problem drinking from the bottles before and if that was the case CALL ME on my job or wait until I get home so that I, HER DAMN MOTHER can decide what I want to do because Shes mine!

now I'm strongly considering calling out Monday so I can stay home with my baby. I may even quit even tho we need the money. At this point I don't trust my grandmother watching my baby
