Dilated to a 3 still, but 70% thinned. He said he stripped my membrane, and that its been known to induce labor for some people. Has anybody had this done & did it help labor?

I did it on a Friday went into labor Saturday had him that night
I had it done. My membranes were swept at 9 am then my bloody show came at 7-8 that nightmare water broke on its own the next morning at 6 am
