They say you can't eat sushi while pregnant because of the Mercury right.. I think it's bullshit.. I can't wait to have me some Philadelphia Roll!! Yummmm 😋 .... I should have clarified I would choose sushi wisely and not eat all raw fish!! Only salmon, everything else.. Cooked. And a small serving.. Not going to go have a feast!

@phasion, omg UR so right!! It's the "American" pregnancy😂 it's so stupid yet so sadly true. It should be illegal to poison us the way they do. That's why I try to eat fresh, organic, and simple!!

@karina22, yes but there's so much restrictions on "American" pregnancy it's also because of all the chemicals in our food and how our food is grown ...

@coraanne @tibi2696 yes! Also what do women in Asian countries eat when their most nutritious diet is sashimi.. Lol I just think lots of restrictions are contradictions to healthy food for U

There's so many restrictions on what we eat as a pregnant women... I feel as long as you trust who is preparing your food, it's ok to indulge once in awhile.... of course as long as it doesn't have liquor in it lol

Yeah one serving of fish a week is recommended. If you eat raw fish just make sure it's from a place you trust and maybe ask them to make it fresh because you're pregnant.

@tibi2696, lots of doctors say salmon is safe to eat uncooked like once a week CUZ it has lots of dha

@coraanne, @sarahrachel0715, doesn't the doctor to say have one serving of fish per week.. Raw fish has nutrients cooked doesn't.. But I agree with the food Bourne illness but salmon is considered one of the safer fish to eat. It has lots of dha!

It's not because of the Mercury. Things like swordfish have Mercury. It's because you aren't supposed to eat uncooked fish

Actually it's because it's uncooked meat.

Sushi is delicious but I'm more concerned with getting a food born illness, or parasitic infection with eating sushi. Just something to think about....
