I have a question...my fiance & I are trying for a baby...and I was on the depo shot only three months, and then I got off. I just got my period June 14th, 2015. I'm still on my period. The DR at the hospital told me once I get my period, I should be back on track. I'm not sure when would be the best time to try... How much should we try? I take prenatal vitamins to help, and I'm praying I get pregnant. How does the fertile days and ovulation days occur?
On lol sorry I read it wrong . Than yes I forgot it last 3 months but I meant like I only got it once
that's what I meant...I meant I was only on it one time, lol @yazdahboss @lp1988727
I only was on for A month . And honestly it took me almost a year without trying . But like I said don't b scared everyone is different some women get pregnant right when they get off the shot
I was only on the depo for 3 months...should my cycle or chances of getting pregnant be slim to none? @yazdahboss
oh wow, well I have an OBGYN appointment tomorrow. & I'll find out more information... I pray to God that I end up pregnant before January, because that's when my fiance leaves for the Marines... @yazdahboss
Everyone is different but they told me that is the worse birth control u can get if you want to get pregnant after . It really messes up your cycle I was bleeding for 3 months straight
Some women can't get pregnant that quick it took me almost a year and I wasn't trying . And after my friend got off that shot it took her more than 5 years to have a baby
It honestly depends on how firtil you and your spouse are. Im currently still ttc. My ob said it can happen before your first period or it could take a year.
can you get pregnant right away after your first period after the depo? @katt18
I was on the depo shot for about 8 years and stopped in october, i had my firs period in May, i have used the Ovia firtility app to help track better event though im irregular i have noticed a sort of patters. my cycles come as 49 days, 36 days, 22 days and back to 49. Untill you find a pattern just have sex every day at least once. Also you may want to try ovulation tests. To determine the cycle length its the day you start your period until the day before your next period starts.
Work out the length of your average menstrual cycle. Day one is the first day of the menstrual period and the last day is the day before the next period begins. Ovulation happens about two weeks before the next expected period. So if your average menstrual cycle is 28 days, you ovulate around day 14.
How do you know the length of your cycle? Bc my periods were irregular for a while, and then normal again... @adriana1993
that's the thing everyone, my fiance has until January 2016 until he leaves for the Marines.... and we both want a baby so so bad. I only had one shot....I'm on my period now, it says on the calender quiz I took my fertile days are around June 24-28th.,, I take prenatal vitamins. I'm going to my OBGYN tomorrow to talk to her.... I am so so nervous that won't get pregnant in time.... I smoke cigarettes, on a daily. a lot...I'm wondering if that could stop me from getting pregnant? Or....what??
