I'm so upset and embarrassed! RANT 😠😤😢😓 I'm a college student and haven't worked a real job ever! (my parents didn't want me to in high school and my dad was adamant about not working my first year in college). Well, my hospital bill was about $1800 because the doctor my mother preferred me to go to isn't in our insurance's network. I told my mom that's kind of expensive and that I would look for a different doctor she said to just stay and that she and my dad would foot the bill. I told her I would ask my boyfriend to at least pay half she said that wouldn't be necessary only to pay a few times. My boyfriend has given me over $200 for the bill and $1600 is left. At my last appointment they told me I couldn't come back until the bill was paid in full. I don't have $1600 just laying around and now my mom is denying she even offered to pay. I was told to apply for Medicaid and they would pay the rest, I won't know if I'm approved or not until July 10th... 9 days before my due date. I feel bad and embarrassed that I can't check on my baby girl and that I don't have the money for the doctors.

trying going to an office and speaking with someone .. or Idk if where your at they have a hotline that can guide u we have 211 in Texas

did u apply for emergency medicade they tell u that same day u should go to the office of human services

I never applied for Obama Care because I don't know the stipulations about it... I'm not sure how long it will be for me to get approved at this point either. @phaison
medicaid will pay for visits within the past month or longer. just apply now it cant hurt!
If you have the paper work showing you applied for Medicaid some doctors will take you just have Medicaid back date your appointment. You will get approved regardless
u can go to er.. they do back pay. u can also go to a clinic, mine has a program u apply to for the time being and i still get to see my ob/gyn...

I told my friend my mom wants to throw me a baby shower and write on the invite "monetary gifts only" and he told me that people aren't trying to pay for my "gas bill" I'm offended because a lot of money goes into a baby shower, and if you're gonna give me a 10$ blanket from Ross that I probably won't even use it's a waste. I rather use those 10$ for my honest company diaper subscription.

SO my mom has been very negative about the baby my entire pregnancy. Especially in the beginning, she said the most HORRIBLE things about me, my DH and my unborn baby. Like that I was making a big mistake, that I was making her 2015 the worst year ever... etc etc. Even when she would do nice things she made me feel like I was a HUGE inconvenience and a burden to her. She told me to definitely NOT expect a shower or anything like that from her. Fine, whatever...
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her ...
