how do you moms afford being a stay at home mom? we have over 1500$ a month in bills. My husband is a farmer so we have many bills. What did you cut back on/ do to make it work on one income? We can make it work with his income but that's without any extra money!
We live on 1 income also, we cut cable, got rid of cell phones, coupon as much as I can and shop Thrift stores and sales... It's not easy. I also use the envelop system for paying bills, it seems to help.
Ours are about the same. Both my husband and I do things on the side for a little extra. I have an at home crafting business and a certified swim coach and my husband is a licensed electrician and does work on the side soccer coach for the Highschool. He also is a certified EMT at work and sometimes rides ambulances
We have about 1500 in bills too. We literally don't use electricity unless we absolutely have to lol. I unplug all my electronics before i go to sleep. we don't use the AC... We use a lot of coupons for all of our stuff. we don't realky go out unless its a wedding or party etc.. i buy used everything.... they have facebook pages where ppl post clothes, furniture, food etc most for free or for a reduced price.
Wowza me and my hubby have around 2.5K a month in bills o.O I thought we were on the average/low end

Do Not Post TMI Photos in this group!!!
This is a group of ladies that are kind, encouraging, understanding and caring of any problems you may have ttc. You can ask all the questions you want, if this group is capable of answering, we will do so. But this group does not appreciate the TMI photos. We will report them. So if you seriously need to post a picture of your bodily fluids, please do so in another group. We are not trying to be rude we are just trying to keep this group clean and happy.
I really don't understand the judgment between being a working mom or a stay at home mom. If you need to work, work. If not, don't. No need to degrade other women for doing the opposite of you. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
We have about $3,000 in bills every month mostly because we live in the bay area and its crazy expensive here. I'm on WIC so that kinda helps with food and formula. We also go to Goodwill's for clothes sometimes because they actually have nice stuff. We save up all our change for a few months and when we're in desperate need we'll go and cash it in to have a few bucks during the week until he gets paid again. My hubby is an auto body technician so if we really need extra money he always has side work or overtime. I go on some Facebook groups for women and children and sell things my girls don't use anymore. I honestly wish I qualified for Welfare because the extra income would be so nice but according to California State Laws my hubby makes way too much which is BULL lol but we do what we can and we work together as a team
