well i think everyone is different but for me i had it back in 2009 after i had my son the took it out to get prengnat in 2011 then got it again in dec 2011 kept it till feb 2015 of this year to get prego again and i NEVER had a problem with it or getting pregnant afterwards it makes ur periods more light too never got cramps or nothing :) @marguerite_1990
