Oh I know that feeling! I was smaller was my first and people would say all kinds of stupid things like that to be. I remember going to my hair dress about 2 weeks before I was due and she said "are you sure there's nothing wrong with your baby!" WTF. This pregnancy I'm a bit bigger (at least to me) and people keep telling my I'm small and why am I complaining about pregnancy aches and pains. Some people just have to say something. Don't worry about them. As long as your doctor is fine with your pregnancy that's all that matters. Bonus; smaller tummy = no stretch marks ;)
@jasminebelmar, I know! Saying things like this to a hormonal mom to be who is already thinking overtime about bad things that could happen to her baby to be, it's like no common sense
I've has comments from "oh your so small and don't look 8.5 months" to "are you having twins? " to "wow your so small did you just not eat?" "look at your chubby cheeks!" lol people don't understand that pregnant women are never the same and everyone is different!
I've gained 50lb with this pregnancy (here is to hoping most is water retention) lol
Everyone said the same thing to me even the doctors thought I was gonna have a 5-6lb baby and he was 7lbs 11oz! Belly size means nothing! Pretty much most of the weight I gained was baby.
