15 day Mommy Challenge:

Day 1:

1. I'm a full time English student. My passion is writing. I hope to one day teach literature and creative writing on a Native American reservation. Native American teens have a lot to say but have little to no way of being heard in times of hardship and struggle. I want to change that.

2. I've never lived in one place longer than 5 years.

3. Illinois girl, born and raised.

4. I dream of being admitted into UC Irvine for their prestigious Fiction Creative Writing Masters Program (still have to finish my undergrad).

5. I was sexually assaulted on two difference occasions my first year of college (2011). I have just recently accepted the fact that it was not my fault that I was assaulted. I held a lot of guilt for that, I now feel confident in sharing my experiences in hopes others will not experience the same outcome.
