I am 24 weeks and 2 weeks ago I developed severe itching all over. there is no skin reaction. I can barely sleep cause of the itching. my doctor did the liver test and everything was fine. he just told me to take benadryl. thats still not enough anyone go threw this.

The lotion was a savior as well so keep that in mind! A lot of it is the moisture being pulled from your skin. Drink more water and get a lotion without petroleum or any of its derivatives in it and that should help show some improvement :D

Claritin is non drowsy for during the day. My doula told me I needed to watch the amount of Benadryl I was taking especially closer to the due date because it can cause not as much milk to produce. Also your body starts to build a tolerance to Benadryl causing you to have to take more. Supplementing with Claritin really helped me! I haven't been itchy in over a month!

Odd question, but did you change your laundry detergents at all? Some people develop allergies!
@adrienneerinne27 claritin and benadryl is the same? i like benadryl because it puts me to sleep lol
maybe ill do claritin I got the spray but it didnt help. thanks for responding I feel like Mentally going crazy.

yes I have it now...use calamine lotion and take benadryl.... its terrible

Yes, my itching was terrible! I went to CVS and got the eczema relief spray and CeraVe lotion. Taking Claritin was also a big help!
i dont have severe itching but i notice when i got pregnant every thing itches me even cotton ... but now its calmed down just a little but its still annoying
ladies i for the past 4 days have had a itch you know where. and i feel so raw down there, it hurts and itches. what can it be. ive been taking antibiotics for about a week for a bacteria infection but now this!!! help
Got bit up really bad over a week ago. Not sure if its mosquitoes or fleas while at a birthday party. They still itch really badly. I tried everything to get it to stop itching. Does anyone know if there's anything I am able to take to help the bites heal? Or go away?
Soaked in an oatmeal bath and put aveeno skin relief lotion on afterwards and I haven't been itching for about 4 hours now.... this is awesome considering I was uncontrollably itching for 11 weeks straight. Hopefully when I lay down to sleep it will continue to work
Starting TWW. Anyone else? I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
Itching everywhere!!!!!!!!! I am itching from head to toe but I can't see any type of rash! I am not really having any other symptoms other than a slight headache. (yesterday it was an awful headache that lasted ALL day, but this morning it is very little)!! Anyone know what's going on?

what does poteoleum do the eczema lotion ive been using has it in there thanks for everyones help
