do anybody have a cerclage?

I had a cerclage put in at 13 weeks. 2nd time getting it due to IC. so it's holding up pretty good. I get it out when I'm 36 weeks

No you can't your dr will put you on pelvic rest which means no sex, or anything period you also might be put on bedrest.

Make sure to let your dr know. I was told it can rip your stitches out or cause preterm labor. So just have your dr check to make sure everything is still in tack like it is supposed to be. @quishana

Ugh I do! had an emergency cerclage put in 3 days ago and I'm miserable!

I was specifically told no sex. you don't want to risk going into PTL or ripping, but everyone's circumstances are different.

@mom2keiks, I had one at 15 weeks n I just can't take not being 2 please my husband ugh

@quishana I would just ask your ob. last thing you need is an infection or go to ptl. but I know how you feel. .. neither can i. but I say if we can't have any, at least they can still hv a bj or hand job! we can't have any at all!
