So I'm 37 weeks pregnant, just downloaded this app today lol. Expecting my first child, a boy, on July 3rd. I plan to have a medicated free birth, preferably a water birth. I would like to hear stories from Anyone who has had a natural or water birth. Encouraging stories would be nice :)

I had natural at 37.3 weeks and it was awesome. Only about 7 hours and 2 pushes!

My 2nd wasn't natural though. Lol 39.5 weeks, 18.5 hours of pitocin-inducing epidural labor but still only 4 pushes.

That isn't too long! I'm hoping I don't have a long hard labor like I've heard most FTMs have

You can plan and plan but you'll know what to do when it happens. My first OB tried to talk me into drugs and C-section (dropping fetal HR) and I chose to wait for a few minutes and not panic. So glad I did because she was fine! But sometimes you may have to go against your own plan and you can't beat yourself up. You'll be fine :)

Yeah I know to expect the unexpected lol. even though I don't want to, I have to keep an open mind. But 2-4 pushes? That's awesome lol
