So I'm being released from the hospital today but I'm only getting to go home with one baby. The other has to stay in the Nicu. Any other Nicu mommies on here and how are you coping? I don't know if I can stand being away from one of my girls.

I was born preemie at 24 weeks weighing 1 pound 9.2 ounces and my twin weighed 1 pound 13 ounces. the nurses called everyday to let my mom know what was happening with us and she was able to visit whenever she was able to

I went to see my son 3 - 4times a day and it was so hard when i had to leave him once again.
My oldest son had to stay in the NICU for 14 days. The hardest thing i ever had to do was leave the hospital wothout my baby. He was born 6 weeks premature
The NICU nurses were great with my son. If I called at anytime of the day they would always keep me informed. It was so hard leaving him there though. I went there everyday twice a day faithfully. He'll be home sooner than you know it hun. Will be keeping your little princess in my prayers.
Nicu nurses are the best it'll be okay you're amazing
she will be ok mamas there lots of nurses there to take care of her focus on the baby girl thats going home today you can always go.to the nicu whenever u want to see her thats what i did when i had to leave my daughter i cried but i realized shes with nurses and i can see her whenever i wanted
