I'm considering have a birth photographer for when Baby Cervantes makes his or her arrival. I know that I only want me and my boyfriend in the room. And I just want it to be us the first day at the hospital when the baby's born. I want us to have time alone with the baby, plus I think I need the time to get the hang of breastfeeding. Unless our parents insist on coming day 1, and they probably will. But I'm going to make everyone else wait until the next day. And even then I don't want that many people coming to the hospital. Anyways. I know Walter won't be able to focus on anything but the baby. None the less taking pictures. And I definitely don't want to miss out on capturing the moment that we become parents. Did anyone else use a birth photographer?

I'm going to have my aunt take all the pics of the precious first moments then after an hr or so I'll let people come meet her

@santistevanmommie, I was thinking about getting a friend of mine to take them. Photography is her thing. But idk yet

It might be a good idea. I told my aunt after she takes the pics she has to leave so we have bonding time and I can breastfeed. I just want to have those special moments captured

Ya we have it all planned out. My reasoning for it was that I didn't want my mom to be focused on taking pictures. Last time we face timed, so she had the phone and the camera. She did a great job but I want her to relax this time. Just go with the flow an be there for me. Ours was reasonable priced! But there are a lot who are lot. I'm asking her to get the big moments. When she meets her brother, our parents. Even breastfeeding. She's also doing some video in there.

@hooper14 Well I really just want me and my boyfriend in the room when the baby comes. It's going to be a big moment for both of us. And I don't want family members in there getting in the way of us seeing or holding to baby at first. Especially our mothers. I told them their job is to go to the nursery with the baby and don't take their eyes off him/her. Lol. And I know if I got my mom to take the pictures they'd be all blurry and she'd more than likely take pictures that I do not want... Like the actual birth. Lol. I just want to after pictures. And I'm getting a nice camera soon because I plan on taking my own newborn pictures. So I really just need someone behind the camera taking them
