everybody has different symptoms when it comes to the depo shot i never bled but i broke out

I really liked that shot and it's one of the best but you can gain a lot of weight off it. And you're supposed to switch to something else for a while if you're on it for 2 years it's really hard on your bones. plus if you want to get pregnant again right away it wouldn't be a good candidate because it can take up to 2 years to get your fertility back you can get pregnant sooner every women is different but it is supposed to take a while

yeah I have heard that people gain a ton of weight, and some people bleed non stop with the shot. never had it personally, I don't wanna take the risk of gaining weight.

I didn't gain any weight while on depo, but I bled uncontrollably for all 6 months I was on it. I personally didn't like it but everyone is different

I hated the mirena, I had it for 2 years gained 40 pounds while working out and eating healthy. it's strictly progesterone so I believe harshest made my hormones so out of whack that my husband couldn't stand to be around me or talk to me because I would be crazy for no reason. I was always bloated and uncomfortable.

@mommy2be1346, the Mirena is also supposed to be a 5-year insertion so I figure either way I'm not getting pregnant for some time.

I had the depo and loved it. I have heard a lot of bad things about it tho. Dont do depo if u plan on getting pregnant any time soon
