I think it depends on the type of person you are. Bc you can always be close with the son and his wife REALLY treating her like a daughter.

I totally disagree. My maternal brothers were very close to our mother (she passed away) and they are now close with our grandmother. My husband to be is still close with his mom and he's 34 lol

My mom always told me that. She said she is glad she only had girls because apparently "a son is a son till he takes a wife, a daughter is a daughter for your whole life" or something like that.

BUT I know a lot of grown men who really care for and spend time with their mothers. Just really nurture that bond early on! :)

It's the opposite boys stand by there moms, they try to get there woman to cook like there mom etc..... Girl are quick to leave they mom for some guy!!! And most of the time girls clash with there moms .... Boys don't!!

@edomke, my 4yr old is so protective of me.... He always say nobody better not mess with his mommy!!! :) I'm so happy to be having another boy :)
