Does anyone else receive progesterone shots weekly to prevent preterm labor?

I never heard of that i mean this is my first pregnancy but I am like godmother to tons of kids and i am like in a line of family with tiny kids and not once did i hear of that being given before

Yes I get them. I will get them until I am 36 weeks pregnant.

no but I was on 200mg progesterone suppositories I had to take vaginally every night

Have any of you guys ever had a reaction to it? Like red itchy and a knot?

I go to the doctors every week to get them.. but my doctor said it is not working for me since he thinks I will have this one early again.
