Question about formula
It's been a while since I've had a newborn and the formula has changed slightly, the hospital started my daughter on the Enfamil Newborn (the blue can) due to her sugar being low so I was nursing 15-20 mins and then filling her belly with that. Now that we are home I have a few more ready to feed bottles for her, but also a couple cans of powder. Have any moms had a problem with baby taking differently to the powder than the ready to feed? Both enfamil newborn just prepared differently. We tried a powder bottle to save the ready to feed early and she's been slightly restless all night. Can't remember if my sons had this problem after they came home. I dont know if it's just a off night for her or if the enfamil newborn is making her gassy it uncomfortable because i have the gentle ease as well so I'm willing to switch her if necessary.
@jamie_renea03, I thought that too, was just wondering tho because i didn't know if it was possible she was gassy due to having her first powder bottle this evening at 10ish. She's been fighting sleep, gassy, and just being fresh haha and not herself. I dont know if she just didn't fully burp or has gas or whatever.
I thought the ready to feed and powder were made the same way? Just mixed with water....but the ready to feed is already mixed.. I never had a problem with my daughter using both but she's on Gerber.
Ladies I need your help! I’m planning on giving baby her first feed from the breast so she gets all my colostrum but after I’m using formula. Did you mummies that formula feed take the ready made bottles with teats to the hospital in case you had to stay in?
Ready Feed formula or Powder and Why pls???
I just can’t win tonight! Was going to make Eliana a bottle and dropped the cereal bent down to pick it up forgetting I had an open bottle with formula in it and the bottle spilled all in my carpet 🤦🏻♀️ And before anyone adds any smart comments... yes I put cereal in my almost 4 month olds bottles! No it’s not to make her “sleep longer” but to help with her reflux! If you don’t like it just keep scrolling 🤷🏻♀️
Hey girlies! I plan on breast feeding my LO as much as I can. I also plan to formula feed when needed. Have any of you moms tried organic formulas? How was it? Experience?
I formula fed my 8y/o and breast fed my 3y/o for 16 months, I’ve decided for my own reasons due to the problems I did face breastfeeding my 3y/o that I am going to formula feed this one. My question is I have no idea about formula as it was so long ago I used it! What do I buy for newborns? Best brand? Also, bottles!? I have heard good things about mam bottles but don’t know what steriliser etc!? Help appreciated xxx
Ready made and powder is the same thing. Try it 2-3 more days. If she's still fussy, the formula might not be suiting her well
