Induction wise? Pitocin makes your contractions intense and ontop of eachother, barely any breaks. And it hurt like hell when he broke my water, but only because they had trouble getting a hold of my cervix. My contractions hurt so bad but I got the epidural and after that I was fine. Pitocin also helped me dilate so I dilated super quick. I went from a 5 to an 8 in half an hour and 8 to a 10 in 2 minutes. But everyone is different!

I know induction all too well and that's why I refuse especially right now because I believe it's too early. I'm saying more contractions. @valerie_jean

I got induced because my son's heart rate kept dipping. I was afraid but said okay let's go for it because it was for my sons best interest. I was 39 weeks but I wish he would have came on his own! Induction was no joke.

Just tell your doctor you'd rather wait unless they have a great reason why they want to induce you.

That's what I've been doing. It's been a great smooth pregnancy. At this point it's not needed. @valerie_jean

It's so weird that doctors push induction on their patients when they're not even at 40 weeks and are perfectly healthy. The doctors at my clinic refuse to even consider induction until the due date has been passed or there's a health reason.

It's all about business and making money. Makes me sick. Good for your clinic! @coraanne
