word of advice. IV meds are worthless. they make you feel drunk and that's about it. never helped me with the pain but everyone is different. they also effect the baby. the epidural doesn't. if you can go natural though that's great.

you're welcome. you'll find what works for you but just thought I'd offer up some advice from my own experience.

All drugs have effects on your baby not just IV ones. They dont have big effects but they can cause him/her to be tired after labor and it will be harder for them to latch at first. In my Prepared Childbirth thats what they told us. So im assumin thats right lol. But look then up 😊 Always good to research so you know what options you have and what effects they have on you and your baby. Im hoping i can have an un medicated birth too, so lets hope we dont change put mind in the delivery room either lol Good Luck!

I had the iv meds when I had my son, it helped me relax between contractions. my son was awake and alert for hours after he was born.
