Double barrelled surname for our little man x

I'd rather his if I liked it but I don't but mine fits with the names I like. I am willing to compromise with a double barrel but he's having none of it. I just avoid the conversation at all costs lol. I suppose it will be that way until baby is born @essex-angel

My partners culture it's important for the child to take the fathers name, and double barrels are not an option ....im not a fan though! Right now, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place 😔

My little man has his daddy's surname. I don't want to get married as I think "if it ain't broke don't fix it" but I'm probably going to change my surname so were all the same. X

Mine little boy has his Daddy's and so will this one. My Grandma is a big believer that if you aren't married the child should have the mothers surname incase the relationship doesn't last. I don't think that should matter as it's still going to be their dad no matter if you're together or not but yeah😕 xx

thanks ladies.. mines having her daddys name, its never been in question.. my mum just asked whose surname baby is having and when i said my partners, she came out with "big mistake!". shes never had a problem with him. we both feel slightly disheartened xx
