Many moms think the car seat is made to click on top of a shopping cart, but it's not. It can damage the locking mechanism that's meant to be clipped onto the base only causing failure in an accident. The shopping cart says not to do it, your car seat manual says not to do it. So don't.

most carseats dont click on shopping cart like they use too. mines doesn't

@mmmirage, I know it sucks that the seat takes up the whole basket. Have you considered Babywearing?

I put the carseat in the cart and got whatever fit 😩😫 couldn't get milk that trip !
