Breast Feeding mommies, Saturday is my mans bday and he wants to go out to a bar. I was thinking about having a couple beers. if I did how long would my milk be bad for?

yep just think of it like ur blood alcohol level. once you aren't tipsy or buzzed anymore you're milk is perfectly fine. you would not have to pump and dump it :)
The alcohol leaves your milk just like it leaves your bloodstream. So as long as you're not drunk and you wait a bit, you'll be fine. No reason to pump and dump.

I don't think I could hang anymore than just a couple. I'm not much of a drinker its been 2 years since I drank @junebaby and honestly I am perfectly fine with not. at the same time tho it would be nice to have a couple hours to have fun with my man.

Really @junebaby. So if I put him to sleep at 7 went out tell like 12 and if he woke up at 630 and I fed him hed be okay? I'm gonna buy strips if I do decide to drink. I'm parinoid just don't want my son taking in alcohol
so you can nurse, have a drink, then wait two hours or until your head feels completely clear and you can nurse again.
when you do not feel buzzed at all you are ok. they say 2 hours per drink.
I understand what you mean my bf works nights and even tho our son isn't born yet he has fits at night when his daddy's not home
