my son is almost 4 1/2 months and still no period is this normal?
(Sorry, I accidentally sent it before I finished) *breastfeeding is technically a form of birth control, but it's not 100%. The best prevention is condoms and/or your choice of birth control.
Yes, you can definitely get pregnant before you have your period! Especially in the first 6wks because you are extremely fertile at that time. And breastfeeding
@cookiemonster1216, ty much I'm glad there's nothing wrong with me lol. Do you know it you can get pregnant if you haven't had your period yet?
My sis got hers at 6mo and I didn't get mine until 10mo. We both bf. So it just depends on the women and if you get on bc and which bc :)
I was thinking something was wrong with me @missvargas I didn't know it was common. I didn't even realize tell I say a tampon commercial then it made me think hadn't had mine yet lol
@zaydenmomma, I would prefer to have mine because even though I know it's normal I would be freaking out thinking something is wrong with me especially since i got my period back right away with my first two kids.but it would be nice
If I can go a year with no period and pregnant free sex I will be one happy momma :) @missvargas @junebaby
I got mine back right away but I've known several women who went over a year.
I breast-feed with my first for a while and got my periods back right away.but I've also heard of people who have breast-fed for over a year and never got there.Until they stopped .I hear that supposedly you can't get pregnant either if you period hast come back so it's also form of birth control for some people
okie dokie thank you @junebaby and @missvargas . I'm not complaining lol my periods before I was pregnant where torture. I don't miss them they can take there time coming back. Just trips me out cuz I'm paranoid about getting pregnant again.
if you are breastfeeding it can take months before it returns. the postpartum bleeding is different.
yes I am breast freeding @missvargas . @shellybear I bleed for a month after he was born I'm. of sure or that's considered a period or not
did you have your "bloody show" after he was born? or just no bleeding at all
oh okay i see
