So finally been induced, my body has naturally got me to 2cm dilated all by itself which is really good. I have had the tablet thing place behind my cervix to help soften in and dilate me further. It was rather uncomfortable but trying to think positive. I'm trying to be open and helpful in case any one else goes through it.

Aww good luck Hun, I went through the same thing . After they had to break my waters and put me on drip. Baby was born 7.5 hrs later x be strong x just think of the joy seeing your angel soon x
Induction process wasn't too unpleasant when I went through it, it was just long and they made me have a 24 hour break as well. My body didn't respond to any of the treatments (baby had his hand on his head so he wasn't pushing down enough on my cervix), but I wish you luck!! Xxx

Are there any effective ways & things I can do to help soften and dilate my cervix faster? At my appointment my doctor said I was MAYBE a fingertip dilated and 60% effaced.
Please help! My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
I broke down at my moms house today ... because of the debt we owe and Passover is coming and it’s a very expensive holiday ... it was just way too much .... my mom i guess told my brother that I’m suffering and he called me over and asked me why i didn’t just ask for help, and offered to help when i need it . And gave me basically 4K to help for the month and if i need more to ask ... now one thing about me , is that i will suffer silently and won’t ask for help.... I’ve always been that way. Deff thankful for my family atm. I will start to do eBay too . I have stuff i can sell... anything to help out alittle help my husband ... whatever i can do.
