it's a genetics thing, I have them on my hips not belly yet

I didn't get them till after I had her. only got a few right after my c section

I got them at around 25 weeks. I for sure thought I wasn't going to get them because I had the cutest little bump.

My mother didn't get hardly any so I am hoping I only get a few if I do. I personally just try not to scratch. I hear scratching is what causes them to be so bad and deep. I am just curious lol. They are the marks of true love <3

@junesmommy15, I have a small bump still it's very noticeable BUT I think I'll start stretching at the very end.

I was all belly and didn't get a single stretch mark on my belly before of after labor.

because I was bigger at one point, I already had them. but they were fading away.... cuz i lost weight. but then found out we were pregnant.. now I'm 36 weeks and haven't had any NEW ones, my old ones are still white cant really tell..

Awesome ladies maybe I can get lucky too lol I wish I was all belly... @chelsea0820 I was 94lbs before pregnancy and I got big thighs, big butt, big Boob's, and a belly. hehe

I think it all just depends on your body and what it will do. I didn't scratch my belly for one bit but I ended up with them. I did start to scratch around 34 weeks because I developed pupps which did make them more dark. It just depends on you.@desiduke2413,

With my first pregnancy I didn't have any up until 2 weeks before I gave birth. 😞 I thought I was in the clear and whenever I got itchy I went and scratched like crazy. Mine were never red or purple, they're flesh colored and you can't tell they're there unless you feel for them. That was 7 yrs ago and now I'm pregnant again and it's the same thing. 😊 I only have one tiny purple one on my side. This time I seriously won't even scratch lol. But it's based on genetics, all you can do is just keep your belly moisturized!

oh thank you ladies for sharing :) I just turn 30 weeks today and have stretch marks on my boobs all of a sudden. I did go from a A Cup to a DD so I expected them them to have some :p awh we will see :)
