When did you ladies start shopping for baby? I quit my job because it wasn't the safest job for a pregnant person and until I find another job, i am relying on my mother and my boyfriends family. Im 20 weeks and haven't began shopping. My mothers superstitious and wants to wait until im 7 months. I think that's wayyy too late to be preparing. When did you start?

I started as soon as I knew what I was having
I think waiting that long you'll be so overwhelmed by how much everything is going to cost you so instead of spreading $3,000+ over te course of months you'll be hit with a huge dent in just 2 months an in addition you'll have medical bills right after that. I say start now. I'm went shopping a week after we found out because it was Black Friday so I got a monitor, car seat, and a bunch of other stuff for just $300 any other day what I got would have cost more then double what I spent. After that I made a list of what we needed picked stuff out then broke down a shopping schedule by dollar amount for what we would spend ( and what we would buy) each week from 25 weeks to 38 weeks. Took the guess work out and made it so we'd have everything we would need and I knew weeks in advance how much we would be spending.
I find out what I'm having Saturday so after I find out I'm going right to babies r us and getting some stuff 💖
I started at 18 weeks I am now 24 weeks and have all the larger items required ! The little stuff I am going to save for my baby shower and finish up after that :) I am always buying little things here and there and if I find a good deal on something I don't ever pass that up :)

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
prego mommies who are working when did you tell your job you were pregnant??? I started a new job today and I wanted to know the right time I will be 14 weeks tomorrow and I'm already starting to show so I'm not sure how much longer I can hide it
I waited until like 30 weeks (with the exception of little things here and there.) Only because we were in the middle of moving and all sorts of stuff. Just didn't have the space, time, or extra money until then.(:
