I had been spotting for a few weeks but then yesterday it was a lot more and today I went to the Dr and they did a sonogram and I'm measuring at 5 weeks (can't hear the heartbeat until 6 weeks) and I say that I am 8 weeks. Has anyone had a miscarriage and dealt with this? My HCG level was 6,000 today and Friday I have to get it taken again to see what it is. I pray it's higher or the same.

@lcase22, No pain at all. It is very strange. And I would think if I am having a miscarriage that my HCG level wouldn't be that high, but I don't know this is my first pregnancy so I don't know a whole lot.

I had a missed miscarriage. I was supposed to be 10 weeks but only measured 7 and my hcg was still rising up until 11 weeks when I miscarried. Although mine was different because I had lost the baby before it even developed so I just had an empty sac. Just keep being positive girl, there's no use in worrying yourself until you get another blood test. it could be nothing.

Today they did see the sac and a tiny tiny spot so I'm trying to stay positive and pray that maybe my weeks are just off and that I'm a rare case that might have bleeding during pregnancy.
