Its well worth it! this world is getting crazy and I'm going to protect mines at all cost. there is a snipper on the highway in Colorado and I'm so scared I haven't been on the highway in almost 9 months lol. plus my husband was always gone and I didn't feel safe with my little kitchen knives 😁😂

@momofroyalty, yes it is getting crazy!! I can't lie I got a big knife by my bed lol. And gosh!! Shoot that's scary! Haha. But in my head I think "what if sumbody comes in here with a gun...imma look crazy pullin out a knife lol" and ppl always breaking into ppls house round here and shootin for no reason and I feel so unsafe.

Lol girl I'm saying I would get shot before I even had a chance to react. thank God my husband is a vet he makes Me go shoot at the range. and the gangs here have lost their minds

You don't have to have a license to have it in you're home. My apt was broken into when I was home alone 5 years ago. It was an efficiency so I had to go hide in the bathroom. Since then we have a shot gun and hand gun in the house. I know how to use both! I will be getting my conceal carry and spending my more time getting comfortable with each at the shooting range now that we will have a baby in the house but it's nice knowing I have them if I need them.

@queenmother, oh!! Well I planned on takin a class before I get one cuz idk the slightest thing about a gun tbh. Lol. But I am wanting to do anything I can to protect my baby's. We live in housing and so if sumbody breaks in and we r in my bedroom then we r sol cuz my room is rite around the corner from the front door.

@vondab490, good! Do what you need to do to protect your family! Taking the class is good because it will not give the skills the be more comfortable it will inform you of the laws. I keep forgetting everyone is not from Texas lol!

Yes totally worth it, also make sure you go to the range and practice. I have concealed carry license, about 4 years ago we had a home invasion and I was beat and shot. I am prepared to shoot and kill this time.

@Vondab490, belief me you never want to go through what I went through and my 2 children were home at the time. Shoot 1st questions later, they deserve to die coming in someone's home without permission. There were 6 guys who came in my house and after stealing all my stuff, beating me shooting me and holding a gun to my 4 yr olds head the most time that 1 of them got was 5 years 1 only got 2. Some justice!

I have mine! I'd suggest taking a class too on how to handle a gun in the heat of the moment. Also I don't think you need a permit to carry if you just plan on having it in your home.
