I hate that my own mother only looks for me when she needs me... she doesn't even bother Looking for my kids because she has this thing that she thinks my kids need to look for her even though she is super close to my sisters kids... and I don't want my kids to see the difference she makes in between my kids and my sisters kids!! My kids already tell me at times how come their grandma is always around them and not my kids? And to make matters worse my sister lives right behind me! and my mom doesn't even bother coming to see my kids!! so she texts me on facebook asking if I can babysit my sisters kids tomorrow because she has a client from her job that she needs to take to the doc. I tell her my son has an appointment with the allergy specialist and I got that appointment 3 months ago cuz it's hard to even gt an appointment and she says if I can figure something out!! I have 3 children of my own and pregnant and she wants me to babysit my 3 other nieces and nephew!! It's not my fault she took the responsibility upon herself to babysit my sisters kids and she can't even do it because she has another job!! its not the first time I babysit because she can't!! I'm not going out of my way just to help u out when ur not even around me or my children!! I refuse to let her use me like she always gas done!! specially not my children!! I let it happen to me when I was smaller to grow up and see the difference she made between my sis and I & I refuse to let my children grow up like that!!! ugh I'm over it!!

I'm in same exact boat! Good luck to you! I quit saying yes and started thinking of how it effects my children! My children are number one to me so that's what I base my answers on now when she needs something from me! Tired of her putting me and my kids on back burner til she wants something! It's hard but you realize who's important in life and that's the people who make u feel important too! Sorry you have to deal with this! I wish u the best

yees!! I grew up with that and I refuse for my children to see that!! they deserve better and I will make sure they have better!! she always seems to make me feel like im the bad one for not begging her and not bringing my kids around her! and I say for what? so they can grow up traumatized like I did? no thank you! my kids will not see that in their life! and THANK YOU it's really hard specially when they make me feel like im guilty for trying to keep my kids safe! likewise hopefully things better with you also @sheena12815

Yes I was abused by her my sister not once reprimanded and I grew up having very close wonderful relationships with my daughters already and I've never touched my children my sister beats her children with spoons and belts I can't stand it! I will never be my mother! I refuse! And thanks, we seem to have grown up a lot alike! It's unfortunate we were treated this way by the people who gave birth to us! It's sad! Good luck! I was abused as well!! And it's not that I hold a grudge on her but I will not be feeding onto her game to keep doing the same to me! I thank God do much I learned from it and didn't grow up thinking it was ok to do what she did to me and do it to my children u would never hurt my children the way she did!! But it's ok because our children will appreciate it when they are grown and we will have that love we didn't have as children 😊 likewise if u ever need anyone to talk to I'm all ears...
