How long did everyone breast feed for? And did you have to take anything to increase your milk supply? My doctor mentioned it to me but I said no and am now wondering if I should try it out.
I agree that the first weeks and maybe first 2 months are a bit challenging but I can assure you that you'll love every minute of it when both, you and baby get used to it . Just know that what you doing for your baby is amazing and so good for him :)
My doctor gave me a prescription for something to help, I like doing both BF and formula so I'll probably continue both :) that way when I'm out and about I can give him a bottle cause I'm super shy about BF in public. 😕 @sophi23 thank you for all your advice I'm gonna try some of those things too!! :)
I did it exclusively until 14 months. I still miss it so much. You should try almonds, tons of water and oatmeal, some of my friends highly recommend fenugreek. Good luck!
I'm breastfeeding and bottle feeding, he eats upwards of 4-5 ounces a feeding usually so my supply just can't keep up with him and I am unable to nap during the day so it's easier to give him formula at night so he sleeps a bit longer and is actually satisfied after feeding @kaity0117
My son is now four and half months old and strictly breastfeeding! Kid won't take a bottle even if I tried! The best thing to increase your supply is water! Drink minimum 1L but 2L is ideal for a breastfeeding mama! Especially in the summer! Are you currently breastfeeding?
