Having the down syndrome test done at 12wks because I'm 34..never had it done b4 w others.. should I be concerned, hows this done?
I agree with @jennatess. It may not run in my family but it won't change my decision to love the child any less.
Just. A blood test I had done aswell an they also told me the sex of my baby from it..
I opted out of it. My doctor wanted me to have it done. (DS runs heavily in my family..) But, I figured there is nothing I can do if she does or doesn't have DS. It's not like I'd abort or put her up for adoption, so,I decided not to do the test. Plus, he said there was risks of false positives, so, just seemed silly to me.
@blessedw7 no it's not drawn from the belly. It's like a regular blood draw
It's just a blood test I'm 34 going on 35 mine was negative
understand the false positive and negative on this test are very high. do no worry do the test but try to relax I stressed so much bc I got a positive and my son doesn't have anything. my aunt got a negative and her son has down syndrome.
They going to draw blood and do an ultrasound to look at the baby neck growth and stuff like that

Has anyone ever done this ?
P.s not mine
plastic surgery
If you could have any procedures done, what would they be?
Anyone done for a meme contest 😂😂😂
Has anyone done keto? What was your experience?
It doesn't run in my family either however if it is positive you can research how to prepare for a baby with DS. I had it done, I looked at it as 'no harm no foul' didn't do any damage and I'd love my babies either way! But I would have just wanted to be prepared if it was positive. Learn as much as i could about DS. But that's just how I looked at it.... ☺
