How would you ladies handle this: My husband is thinking about baby names and he said he'd like a junior (if it's a boy). But, his name isn't my favorite. His mom misspelled it, for starters. Also, his middle name is very similar to my ex's name. How do I say these things without sounding bitchy?
@sammyjo4life I think he feels like it's his turn. I named our. I even have her my maiden name (we weren't married then) with no input from him. Then, I gave him name choices for the second but it was very clear the direction I wanted to go in.
@shaysaleen I really hope to sway him. But, I'm also not sold on telling him his middle reminds me of an ex. Because, even if we don't give baby that name, he'll always know that I think of my ex when I hear his middle name.
@sgtpeppertheory Exactly! We have two kids and we've never run into this issue. Plus, he NEVER wanted a junior. Now, his family is asking if we'll name baby junior and he says "Why not?" But, I always say "No!" which makes us skim the convo and I always say I just don't want that. I want to give him the why but I feel like I'll offend.
i would name my son whatever i wanted but thats just me u wont be happy if u dont
@keaw, gosh no type of middle huh that's hard and he is stuck on making him a Jr huh
I like that idea!^ I've always told my fiancé I never want a junior. it's nothing against him or his name. I just believe in our children being their "own" person, and I personally feel like naming our child a junior automatically makes it seem like he would have certain expectations to live up to. idk I'm just weird like that haha. thankfully he agreed with me. it's hard to compromise on baby names!
He wants it to be his first, middle and last name so the baby will be a Jr. @shaysaleen Even if I changed the spelling to the correct spelling it would make baby no longer a Jr.
@keaw, What about putting daddy name as "jr" middle name . it is sstill there but nottt his 1st name
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
@keaw its both of yalls child but if you arent gonna be happy with the name then you need to come together make a list why he dont need to have the middle name . i just dont want you to regret anything . my family almost got me to change my son's name but when he comes out he is getting the name i want
