Mamas whats the different between eczema and baby rash? Max has it on his face, back of the neck and sometime on his stomach. Looks like small red dots, and sometimes it disappears. His doctor saw it on his face and said not to put any cream just clean with wet cloth. But now it looks very dry on his face so Ive been putting some cream. I thought it was eczema but now Im not sure what it is. And what makes them appear. Something I eat, or the baby detergant Im using for his clothes.

Oh man! Was it super painful!? The healing process? I had a 38 hr total natural labor, no medication. They tried epidural twice in two different areas but it wouldn't go thru Cuz I had a spinal block.
@mmmirage, lol Im the same usually but I must say I did pretty good with my first pregnancy cuz it was c-section. Well it had to be for my son to born without any problems
@kay80, I would have died 20 times by now. I can't imagine being cut open. I'm on bedrest if I even get a paper cut on my finger 😂😂😂
@mmmirage, u right. I wonder the same thing. Ive had with both of my pregnancies the worst doctors who didnt care until I changed where they were much nicer. Im glad ur obgyn was is good and imagine if u had to do a c-section
@kay80, I don't understand why most of these people are doctors. They're doing it more for the money than for a passion. They're supposed to CARE for ones life. It's hard finding a sincere practitioner. My obgyn is the BEST!!!! The nurse was telling her to do a csection and she said no. I will make sure she delivers naturally as she wishes. U know how many thousands of dollars extra she could have made by doing surgery!

Max's first doctor was a woman and she told me if I make unnecessary appt or call she'll be very pissed off cuz she doesnt have time for that. Bitch, like I have time to call unnecessary calls and appt. So I changed to another doctor. I dont have time to stand that kinda behavior from a doctor lol
@mmmirage, Lol I know it. I don't know a lot with babies except from my own experience and what I learned in school but it's been awhile and I often have to look in my books or research. I love old people too. It's very rewarding. I'll be glad to go back to work. @kay80 you might try a free and clear detergent if you haven't already. sometimes baby soap like dreft can break a baby out. it's the softners and fragrances.

thanks @mmmirage .I'm a geriatric nurse right now so much of what I know is elder care related but I try to research what I don't know. @kay80 from what I've read the two can appear very similar and when a rash doesn't go away a doctor will usually test for it. Rashes are very common in babies though. I've known a few people with eczema and they usually are prescribed a steroid cream. using the aveeno or similar cream won't hurt though. here is an article I found that might help some. ссылка

I usually ask my neighbours cuz they have lots of experience and one is a nurse. But everyone is on vacation now so I have to wait till august for them to come back😩

Question mamas...my baby has eczema on his forehead and cheeks and I already brought him to the pediatrician and they said they don’t want to prescribe anything for it because it’s on his face and they don’t want to put any prescription cream on his face so they said to use a cream not lotion cause cream would moisturize more so I have been using Aveeno Baby moisturizing cream on him daily and it hasn’t helped! What else can I try? It’s itchy cause he’s rubbing it with his hand on his forehead...
What does this look like?? I’ve always thought it was eczema but it’s just getting worse. Even with the prescription cream the doctor gave him!

What is the best cure for a face skin rash on a baby? I've tried two different eczema creams, California baby cream and aveeno products. Everything seems to make it worse. The eczema cream and aveeno seemed to help at first then made it worse.
It was very quick process. The healing was not so fun but I actually was hoping for a c-section with Max cuz I didnt know what to expect with normal labor. Im glad I had normal though cuz it went very well in the end. I have now had expericenced both
